My Philosophy on Technical Writing

I believe that cutting-edge technology should be accessible to everyone, regardless of age or technical background. Every concept, no matter how complex, can be explained in a way that welcomes and empowers people from all walks of life.

Inspired by Mr. Rogers

I take great inspiration from Fred Rogers' communication philosophy, particularly his "Freddish" approach. He had an incredible ability to explain complex topics to children without talking down to them. Instead, he:

  • Started with the audience's perspective
  • Used clear, precise language
  • Broke down complex ideas into digestible parts
  • Validated curiosity and questions
  • Created a safe space for learning

This is exactly how we should approach technical writing. Whether we're explaining AI, coding, or any other technical topic, we can do it in a way that makes everyone feel welcome and capable.

"If you look at society as simply the collective contribution of millions of human beings, who carry in themselves certain power, influence, and emotion, and every time you turn the switch off of one of those persons, you dampen the glow."
